Review by hotel critic
As a German art enthusiast with a taste for the finer things in life, my recent gourmet getaway at Fort Resort Beemster was nothing short of exquisite. The culinary innovation at the Poterne Restaurant truly impressed me. Chef Paul de Graaf's four-course surprise dinner was a delightful journey for the taste buds, especially when paired with a glass of Prosecco, adding that touch of European sophistication.Ensuring a perfect start to the day, the breakfast spread was a lavish affair, guaranteeing a satisfying beginning before delving into the day's activities. The atmosphere at the hotel was equally captivating, with a charming mix of an outdoor kitchen, lounge sofas, and even a Bedouin tent with a cozy fireplace-the ideal spot for some post-dinner relaxation. it was a culinary odyssey that blended Dutch design aesthetics with delectable delights, leaving me eager for a return visit. Prost!
